Founded with a vision to make high-quality software architecture guidance accessible, IT Architecture Patterns has been paving the way for scalable and efficient solutions. The work draws on real engagements with a diverse range of clients across Australia and Europe — helping teams overcome complex integration and data challenges and achieve lasting results.
Today the site is an open, growing library: reusable patterns, end-to-end reference architectures, and practical templates — vendor-neutral by design, so the guidance holds whether you build on AWS, Azure, GCP, or on-premises.

Almost 30 years' experience, specialising in integration · TOGAF 9.1 certified
The work draws on experience designing integration, data, and cloud-native systems for organisations across Australia and Europe. In 2021 David published an Integration Reference Architecture to share what twenty years in the integration domain had taught, and this site grows out of it.
